Our final three days this week will be filled with celebrating the friendships we have made this year. On the last day of school we will have our annual picnic. Our class will get in the food line at 11:10, have face painting, and then stretch before the 1 mile walk/run starts at 12:30. Everyone will be walking or running the route so please make sure your child has the proper shoes.A BIG BIG THANK YOU to everyone who made our annual picnic to the Tanana Lakes a HUGE success!!! Students were able to plant trees with the Fairbanks Arbor Day Committee, play games in the open field, take a walk down a trail, get their face painted, and enjoy some yummy food all thanks to our wonderful families and their help! | Student SpotlightHadassah is seven years old. She would like to go to Hawaii with her whole family. Her favorite animal is a cheetah. She likes to play soccer. Pasta is her favorite meal. on the weekend Hadassah likes to ride her bike with her family. |
We have a busy last three days planned celebrating with Ms. Brice on Tuesday and then having a summer birthday party on Wednesday. I will be sending home a packet with a writing journal, some "Step Up to Second Grade" math sheets and information on summer reading programs on Wednesday. Also there are math leaflets up for grabs in the foyer by the book cart.
