The long hot days of summer are upon us and I hope that you have all started to enjoy them with your families. The last few days of school students were busy clicking through routines and showing off all their newly learned skills. The last day everyone pitched in to help with classroom jobs; sorting crayons, markers, pencils, cleaning cubbies, and tubs and helping care for the library. They were SO helpful and independent! Ms. Amy, our duty aide rewarded them with a sticky hand and everyone crafted their "compliment bookmark". The words typed on the bookmark are compliments from their classmates! Check your child's "end of the year papers" to find out what their classmates said and to help them keep skills sharp over the summer. Don't forget about all the fun things Fairbanks has to offer in the summer. Check out this link for ideas. Also the Noel Wein Library has a wonderful FREE summer reading program. | Student Spotlight |
